Leila Musfy is a Professor of Design at the American University of Beirut, Lebanon, Department of Architecture and Design, which she joined in 1992. She helped launch the graphic design program, the first in the region. Musfy earned her MFA in design from Cranbrook Academy of Art, in 1981 and her BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute, in 1978. Musfy’s work has been exhibited in China, Iran, Turkey, the Netherlands, Croatia, Korea, Lebanon, USA, Syria and France. She was part of the ‘9 femmes graphistes’ exhibition/event organised by the ‘Centre du Graphisme d’Echirolles’ France held in 2006. Her work is on permanent exhibit at Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Centre du Graphisme, Échirolles, Affiche Museum, Holland, Zgraf 9 Ulupuh, Seoul Arts Centre Design Gallery, Korea and the Tate Gallery, London, UK.

ليلى مصفي أستاذة تصميم في قسم الهندسة المعمارية والتصميم في الجامعة الأمريكية في بيروت. ساعدت مصفي، منذ أن انضمت إلى الجامعة الأمريكية في عام 1992، في إطلاق برنامج التصميم الغرافيكي، وهو الأول من نوعه في المنطقة. حصلت مصفي على شهادة الماجستير في الفنون الجميلة في التصميم من أكاديمية كرانبروك للفنون، في عام 1981 وشهادة البكالوريوس في الفنون الجميلة من معهد كانساس سيتي للفنون، في عام 1978. عُرضت أعمال مصفي في الصين وإيران وتركيا وهولندا وكرواتيا وكوريا ولبنان والولايات المتحدة وسوريا وفرنسا، كما شاركت في المعرض/الحدث «9 نساء مصممات» (9 femmes graphistes) الذي نظمه «Centre du Graphisme d’Echirolles» في فرنسا في عام 2006. تعرض اعمالها في معرض دائم في متحف لوس أنجلوس للفنون (Los Angeles County Museum of Art)، وفي مركز الفنون الغرافيكية في Échirolles، كما في متحف أفيش في هولندا، وزغراف 9 أولوف، وفي مركز الفنون للتصميم في سيول في كوريا وفي متحف تيت في لندن في المملكة المتحدة.
